Bronchitis Question.....................?

I went to the hospital today and was diagnosed with Bronchitis & some kind of spasms, can't remember what though. I was given 4 prescriptions. I have a symptom going on that's really bugging me and wonder if there is some way I can ease it, have you ever swallowed a pill you can feel that it didn't quite make it down and you feel as if something is caught in your throat? That's how it feels constantly for me, it doesn't hurt it is just VERY uncomfortable. I can imagine that this is the congestion or something like that. Is there ANYTHING at all I can do to make this go away?
