I want to ask how long do you live for if your liver is shutting down due to a fatty liver?

I found out this tonight that my liver is shutting down due to a fatty liver. I am only 39 and I will be 40 in April and am female. I do not drink, nor an I obese. so what is the prognosis of this and how long do you normally live for with this? oh and what is the doctors at the hospital called who specialised in this? yes my eyes are jaundice, and I am more tired now more then ever and yes, I hae noticed a very painfull high abdomen on my right hand side. it is of and on. I got a ct scan done last week for another problem to make sure my ovarian cancer is gone which it has and on that rotine check they found this. and I lernt tonight that my liver is slowly shutting down due to a fatty liver. so please if you can help me I am just woundering how long can you live for with a failing organ like this? and once again what are the doctors who specialise in this called.
