Ok i need to know if there is anyway to access aol chatrooms like biker bar 1 whithout having aol?

we moved to a little town and aol has no local access numbers the local phone company has an unlimited long distance plan but you cant use the internet with it "no data calls only voice calls" they are also running a monopoly on the lines in this town so any other long distance service providers can't offer me unlimited long distance the best i can do is 7 cents a minuet and that would be like 3.60 an hour. I would really like to chat with my buddies again but dont know how to get back in the aol chat rooms if you know i would greatly appreciate your help thanks
