Rabbi-stumping question...?

Hmm, think about this... an egg consists of a yolk and a white, and if its allowed to grow into a chicken, its the white that becomes the baby chicken and it feeds off the yolk until it hatches. So doesn't that make the yolk like the mother chicken's milk? In order to stay kosher shouldn't you eat either the yolk or the white, but not both together?
